Origin
Building constructed in 1895 by the Russian Architect AI Ivanov. The Building with it´s exceptional view over the Kremlin. the Red Square and the Moscow River was inhabited by artists and an International community of the pre-revolution time in Moscow.
During the Soviet times the Building was converted into a Hotel which was receiving official State Guests. In 1939 the Hotel was converted into a Hostel for the Department of Foreign Policy. you can add Info here ...
Opening of the Hotel
Building renovated in 1989 with the Austrian company Austroy Baugesellschaft. The Hotel opened in 1992 under Kempinski Management. you can add Info here ...
