The Diadem of the Emperess
Eugenie, is one of the crown jewels of France. It was used in many famous Ball parties that took place in Biarritz, in Paris, in Madrid and in other places. Later it was auctioned by the Prince Albert of Thurn und Taxis and again it was used in famous events like the Thurn und Taxis weddings in Regensburg. 1990 it was sold and purchased by the societe of the friends of the Louvre where you can visit it today. |
